A typical deployment includes an initial installation and a standard maintenance and support agreement. In years following the initial purchase, customers may choose to expand the system to accommodate uptake beyond the initial scope or enhance it based upon new requirements. Examples of expanded uptake include additional participating organizations and/or volumes of data. Examples of enhancements include exchange of new types of healthcare data, new uses of the system, custom interfaces, new hardware platforms that must be accommodated, new products that customers wish to integrate, new customer-requested features, new security and hosting requirements, new data exchange standards, and new government regulations that must be met. Many such enhancements incur additional cost.
Software Partners knows of no other limitations associated with the implementation and use of the software within its scope of certification.
